Nishant Mandal started as a Fitness Trainer in the year 2010 after successfully certifying with American Council on Exercise (ACE). Prior to this, he was a qualified network engineer but coming from a sports background and having played multiple sports like hockey, lawn tennis, badminton, athletics and cricket, he always felt uncomfortable doing a regular sitting job and wanted to do something which would help contribute to society and also help people live a healthy life which is being affected due to so many extrinsic and intrinsic factors in all our lives.
Nishant Mandal also became a Crossfit Level 1 Coach in 2012 and has command over many types of training modalities like Calisthenics, Kettlebell Training, Olympic Lifting, Functional Training, Strength and Conditioning, Mobility and Mindful Movement to name a few.
Nishant Mandal worked with Celebrity Fitness India and Sportsfit World Private Limited before becoming a freelance personal trainer and have been successfully doing so since 2014. His client base who come from different social backgrounds also include some of the big influential names of Delhi NCR.
Nishant Mandal has trained and assisted people trying to lose weight, gain weight, rehabilitate from an injury, as well as those who want to live an active lifestyle or prepare for a sporting event. The programs designed by him suit individual needs, be it a beginner or a regular fitness freak and derive the best out of the strengths of the trainees.
According to him, due to rise in sedentary lifestyle caused due to ease of access to everything, social media and stress fitness should be a part of our daily lives. Fitness is for everyone be it a 5 year old or an 80 year old, male or female. Fitness does not mean you have to be a sportsman or woman and it certainly does not mean having a ripped physique or having 8 pack abs.
Fitness is about making your day to day life easier by releasing stress, by keeping you energetic throughout the day, by making things that you do on a daily basis easier, by making you less injury prone, by letting you age gracefully without the setbacks of disease and overall just to improve the quality of your life. Taking just a little time out and working towards a better version of you will not only do wonders to you but will also help people around you and society.
